Assembly press
Together with our partner in the area of machine construction, we have developed and built a special assembly press according to the requirements of a customer.
The assembly press is able to press pipes of 10 meters in length with flanges. Various pick-up systems are available to pick up the different flanges. The pressing procedure takes place automatically and with extreme precision.
Our task in this project was the planning and implementation of the controls of the machine. Realization of the machine control system mainly happened with a Siemens PLC, Siemens touch panel and SEW servo drives and Bachofen hydraulic units. The system has been in operation since 2008 and pleases the customer every day thanks to its explicit versatility and reliability.
