PLC programming
Under this assignment we were asked to take over the PLC programming of a 14-meter long sewing machine. After creating a control concept work began on implementing the programming. This included programming of the Siemens S7-300 control including Siemens Touch Panel MP277 on the one hand and on the other, design, parameterization and start-up of a total of 8 SEW servo axes.
Two of the servo axes were responsible for driving the sewing machine and a separately-running spool. Both drives had to run synchronously throughout the whole length of 14 meters; a maximum deviation of
+/- 1mm was permitted.
We were able to complete all the work on time and to the utmost satisfaction of our customer.
