Packaging table
ORION engineering AG developed a semi-automatic packaging machine for high-value non-food products for our client.
At the press of a button, the respective product is automatically folded into the protective packaging and secured for transport. The product-specific labels are also automatically printed and affixed.
The machine can be quickly modified in just a few easy steps to different product types and packaging formats.
Batching and removal is handled manually. At the same time, a visual final inspection is carried out. Subsequent refitting to fully-automatic operation is planned.
Development took place in only a short period of time using 3D CAD Solid Works. The individual motion procedures and functions were simulated and optimized. We generated both drawings and documents for the operating manual from the model data. The machine controls were also designed, programmed, tested and commissioned by our company with SIEMENS S7-300.
Manufacture and assembly was carried out by our partner company.
